Bülent Görer

Founder

Bülent Görer graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Labour Economics and Industrial Relations in 1997.

In his 24 years of professional career, he has spent 5 years in the banking sector and 13 years in the real sector. He worked as audit manager, finance director, CFO and finally as general manager and board member of Tırsan Finansman A.Ş. after obtaining approval from the BRSA, in companies such as Pamukbank, Arkas Holding, Sütaş, Şişecam, Tırsan Treyler, which are among the top 500 companies in Turkey.

In 2016, he established Görer YMM and Financial Consultancy company and in 2019 he established Trasta Danışmanlık A.Ş. Since 2016, Bülent Görer has been a certified public accountant and is the founder of Trasta ESG.

Özgün Çınar

CEO

Özgün Çınar graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Business Administration. He served as Unit Manager at Türkiye İş Bankası AŞ, Budget and Financial Control Manager at Petrol Ofisi AŞ and Head of Risk Management and Internal Audit at Türkiye Şişe ve Cam Fabrikaları AŞ. In addition, he served as a member of the Board of Directors at İş Finansal Kiralama A.Ş., Türkiye İş Bankası Kültür Yayınları İş Türk A.Ş., Anadolu Anonim Türk Sigorta Şirketi, Türkiye Şişe ve Cam Fabrikaları A.Ş. and many other important companies. During half of his career, he has focused on the establishment, activation and competence enhancement of risk management, internal audit and compliance functions in industrial organisations. Çınar has been the Managing Partner responsible for Risk Management and Internal Audit at Trasta Danışmanlık AŞ since April 2023 and General Manager and Board Member at Trasta ESG Danışmanlık AŞ since May 2024.

Tuğrul Üzümkaya

COO

After graduating from Istanbul University, Faculty of Business Administration, Department of Business Administration, Tuğrul Üzümkaya worked in financial institutions such as Garanti Leasing and Volvo Finance for more than 20 years. In his career, he has worked as a senior manager in areas such as business development, operations management, risk management, financial analysis and credit evaluation and financial affairs management.

In 2023, Tuğrul Üzümkaya joined Trasta Consultancy as a Partner and currently serves as Trasta ESG Chief Operations Officer.

Hasan Hulki Avcı

CTO

He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer education and instructional technology. He has held various roles in his career including software development, web administration and technical leadership. He is currently CTO at Trasta ESG Consulting Inc. Previously, he worked as a senior web administrator and front-end developer at Istanbul Chamber of Industry for 9 years and gained full-stack development and project management experience in different companies.

His projects include corporate intranet systems, document management solutions, web tracking systems and many platforms. He has done a wide range of software development and system integration from web-based gaming systems to large-scale corporate integration projects.

Nesrin Şirvan

Business Development Director

Nesrin Şirvan graduated from Ege University, Faculty of Communication and completed her master’s degree in economics and finance at the University of Maine between 2001 and 2002.
Şirvan started her professional career as an economics reporter at Reuters News Agency in 1992 and continued as ‘marketing executive’ and ‘marketing manager’ at Dow Jones Telerate in 1994. After working briefly in the economics department of Sabah newspaper and Para Magazine in 1997, she entered the credit rating sector in 1998 and worked at Duff & Phelps, Turkey’s first international rating company, first as an analyst and then as a business development director. Following the acquisition of Duff & Phelps by Fitch Rating in 2002, she continued his duty at Fitch until 2004 and worked as a consultant for various companies between 2004 and 2008. In 2008, she joined JCR, the world’s fourth largest rating company, as ‘Marketing and Business Development Director’. She held this position until 2021. Şirvan has been working as a founder at DRN Capital since 2022 and has been working as Business Development Director at Trasta ESG since September 2024.
Nesrin Şirvan speaks English and Italian. She holds a Corporate Governance Rating Licence from CMB.

Kaan Öztürk

IT Specialist

Kaan Öztürk graduated from Doğuş University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Software Engineering and University of Lodz, Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering in June 2024. During his education, he worked in various projects in areas such as software development, data analysis, business intelligence, IT consultancy, cyber security, web-based projects and artificial intelligence applications. He started his professional career at KPMG Turkey in 2022 in the ‘Data, Analytics and IT Advisory’ team and gained experience in data analytics, business intelligence and consultancy.

As of July 2024, Kaan started to work as IT Specialist / Software Engineer at Trasta ESG and continues to work on developing sustainability-oriented digital solutions, realising artificial intelligence integrations, project management and taking an active role in projects carried out in Marmara Technopark.

Almina Gencal

Sustainability Expert

Almina Gencal graduated from Eskişehir Technical University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Environmental Engineering in January 2023 and Anadolu University, Department of Occupational Health and Safety in September 2022. During her time as a climate ambassador, she took part in the management team in the preparation of the seminar series in which 17 Articles of Sustainable Development were examined by experts.

Almina has actively contributed to supporting the working and educational lives of women engineers across universities, focused on projects to support children in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fields and has been active in social areas. In November 2022, Almina Gencal started her career as a part-time Assistant Sustainability Specialist and worked on the preparation of sustainability reports, ISO 14064 Carbon Footprint and ISO 20400 Sustainable Supply Chain.

Almina Gencal started working as an Analyst in the Trasta ESG family in November 2023 and as of September 2024, she continues her education in the Czech Republic in the Master’s programme in environmental modelling.

Damla Günalp

Assistant Sustainability Expert

She is currently studying at Hacettepe University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Economics in English. She graduated from Anadolu University Occupational Health and Safety Department in July 2024. She has received training in areas such as sustainable financing, cyber security, e-commerce, investment strategies, gender equality.

She has conducted studies and projects on gender equality in institutions and recruitment, the impact of deposit-based recycling programmes on recycling rates, sectoral alternatives of SF6 and similar greenhouse gases, the effects of artificial intelligence on the labour market, the effects of demographic structure on the balance of payments, market and competitor analysis.

As of September 2024, she started her career in the Trasta ESG family as an Assistant Sustainability Expert.

Prof. Dr İbrahim Ünalmış

Counsellor

Prof. Dr. İbrahim Ünalmış has been working as the Head of the Department of Business Administration at TED University since 2018. He has also assumed the position of Vice Dean since September 2020.

He is a member of TEDUTECH Board of Directors, TEDU Trade Research Centre Board of Directors and TED University Applied Data Science Centre Science Board.

He is a member of the Academy of Management and the International Association for Applied Econometrics and provides consultancy services to the World Bank. He received his bachelor’s degree from METU Department of Economics. He holds a Master’s degree in Money, Banking and Finance from the University of Birmingham and a PhD in Economics from the University of York. Between 2000-2018, he worked as a manager and economist in the General Directorates of Markets and Foreign Relations at the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey.

During his PhD, he lectured on macroeconomics and finance in the UK and Ireland. Recently, he has been working on sustainability and green digital finance.
