Prof. Dr. İbrahim Ünalmış

Professor of economics İbrahim Ünalmış has been working as the Head of the Department of Business Administration at TED University since 2018. He also took the position of Deputy Dean since September 2020. He is still a member of TEDUTECH Board of Directors, TEDU Trade Research Center Board of Directors and TED University Applied Data Science Center Scientific Board. In addition to being a member of the Academy of Management and the International Association for Applied Econometrics, he provides consultancy services to the World Bank. He received his undergraduate degree from METU Department of Economics. His MA is in Banking and Finance from the University of Birmingham and his PhD in Economics from York University. Between 2000 and 2018, he worked as a manager and economist at the General Directorate of Markets and Foreign Relations at the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey. He gave lectures in the fields of macroeconomics and finance in England and Ireland during his doctoral period. Recently, he has been working in the fields of sustainability and green digital finance.

Prof. Dr. Murat Kasımoğlu

Murat Kasımoğlu has worked on over a hundred investment, global joint venture, company acquisition, and merger projects, and has been involved in numerous collaborative projects with companies and investment areas. He has managed the processes of various projects in the fields of education, energy, healthcare, technology, engineering, and infrastructure. He has taken on the responsibility of defining the working principles of these processes, designing structural and managerial processes, and successfully concluding them. Kasımoğlu worked as a coordinator in the Istanbul Global Financial Center Infrastructure Project.

He completed his doctorate at Istanbul University Faculty of Business Administration in 1998 and obtained the title of professor in 2009. Prof. Dr. Murat Kasımoğlu currently serves as a faculty member in the Department of Business Administration at Istanbul Commerce University.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Esra Alp Coşkun

Esra Alp Coşkun completed her PhD in Economics/Behavioral Finance at Dokuz Eylül University in 2021. During her doctorate, she worked as a research assistant in the Banking and Finance Department of Recep Tayyip Erdogan University in 2016 and 2017. During her doctoral thesis, she worked as a visiting scholar in the 2018-2019 academic year at the University of Huddersfield (United Kingdom), Department of Accounting, Finance and Economics. In addition to being an academic, she also has work experience as an independent auditor and forex trading consultant. Esra Alp Coşkun is currently a postdoctoral researcher at Middle East Technical University in a TÜBİTAK project on big data, artificial intelligence and machine learning applications in finance. She has numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals on macroeconomics, microeconomics, economic development, finance and behavioral finance. Some of her work has been published in the International Journal of Finance and Economics and Research in International Business and Finance and Empirical Economics. She is a freelance writer in the popular science journal Bilim ve Teknik, published monthly by TUBITAK, and has been writing popular science articles since 2017.
