This policy text aims to determine the approach of Trasta ESG Danışmanlık A.Ş. (Trasta ESG) to the environmental issue. Our company is committed to the protection of the environment and the sustainable management of natural resources. By minimizing the environmental impact of our activities, we aim to leave a more livable world to future generations.
2.PRINCIPLES OF APPLICATION
- To fully comply with the environmental legislation of the countries in which we operate and the requirements of all relevant parties.
- To apply national and/or international environmental and sustainability standards that are not in the legislation.
- To follow global developments and scientific researches related to environmental management.
- To use resources efficiently and to manage recycling and recovery processes by acting with the goal of zero waste.
- To provide energy efficiency, to shape it with innovative technologies that reduce the effects of climate change.
- To integrate the environmental management system into our work and strategy, to evaluate environmental risks and opportunities, and to regularly review our improvement targets.
- To organize training programs to instill environmental awareness in our employees and stakeholders, to raise awareness and to create an environmentally sensitive culture.
- Providing strategies and solutions for customers to reduce their carbon footprint, improve energy efficiency, and adopt circular economy practices.
- To support customers in improving their environmental performance by promoting environmentally friendly technologies and sustainable business practices in consultancy projects.
- Minimizing resource use by adopting digital transformation and paperless working processes in internal operations.
- To guide customers to comply with international environmental standards and green certifications (ISO 14001, BREEAM, LEED, etc.).
- To guide customers on climate change, environmental risks and regulatory compliance, and to contribute to turning risks into opportunities.
- Developing digital solutions for collecting, analyzing, and reporting environmental data and integrating these technologies into customers.
- To contribute to environmental sustainability projects by collaborating with the public, private sector and non-governmental organizations.
- Aiming to be an exemplary sustainability leader in the sector and placing environmental improvements at the center of all activities.
3.RESPONSIBILITIES
The Board of Directors is responsible for the implementation and up-to-date continuation of this Policy.
4.EFFECTIVE
The policy enters into force following the approval of the Board of Directors.
